Our competition teams are designed for students that are seeking deeper cross-genre training with an emphasis on performance. 

Auditions are held once a year between April and May. (See Team TDC)

These teams (mini, junior, youth, teen, tween, senior, ballet team, hip hop team, acro team, and tap team) will focus on select pieces (jazz, lyrical, and/or contemporary) and perform at Bay Area conventions and competitions and in local performance opportunities. 

 

Specifically, TDC’s Ballet, Hip Hop, Acro and Tap Competition Teams are designed for the upper-level intermediate and advanced students that demonstrate a mature understanding of technique and performance.
