Laura Jeselnick

​

   Laura is a nationally-recognized dance professional and an award-winning team director with over 15 years of instruction experience. She specializes in dance education for children and adults and has taught in elite private and public high schools; at The University of Notre Dame; and in pre-professional dance programs on the Monterey Peninsula, Scottsdale and the Midwest.  Laura focuses in curriculum development; technique training; and early childhood, child, and adult pedagogy methods.  She is also certified in Autism Movement Therapy (AMT).

    Laura’s training in tap, jazz, contemporary, and ballet encompasses nationally-respected studios in Orange County and Phoenix, including Bender Performing Arts. Laura continued her training at Saint Mary’s College of Notre Dame (South Bend, IN) and in Rome, Italy and Europe, and danced with her collegiate company.  Post undergrad, she furthered her training while studying graduate pedagogy methods at Arizona State University.

Competition teams under Laura’s direction have won consecutive regional and state titles along with providing strong showings at National competitions. Her choreography has been reviewed and featured in respected publications. One of Laura’s favorite dance memories is performing in the Super Bowl halftime show featuring Diana Ross. Laura and her husband, Adam (a local architect) live in Carmel with their two toy-poodle mixes, Miley and Lani.
