Rachel Allaire is a Carmel native and has taught locally and internationally for 10 years. She specializes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and drama and has served as a director for a dance program in Brazil while teaching 2nd grade abroad. Rachel taught dance in Sonoma County where she attended Sonoma State and received her teaching credential. She also holds a Masters of Education and is a kindergarten teacher and academic coordinator for a small Salinas elementary school. Her favorite dance memories include dancing as the Sugar Plum Fairy in Nutcracker, traveling abroad to China and Italy on a competitive dance team, and being an active member of the Carmel High School Dance Team. Rachel is thrilled to be imparting her passion for children’s academic and dance education.
