Kyle Richlin is a performer at heart, and has been performing for the past 28 years. Born and raised in Salinas, Ca, Kyle was an original member of The Western Stage’s Young Company. Their Summer Intensive Theater Camps gave him the tools to become the performer he is today. Kyle was a season regular in multiple productions with The Western Stage, Pacific Repertory Theater, MPC Theater Company, and The Wharf Theater. After graduating high school, Kyle ventured to California State University – Sacramento where he received his BA in Theater Arts. There he became well rounded in every aspect of theater production, and still found time to shine in the limelight. In 2005, Kyle decided to move to Orlando, Florida, where he began working for Walt Disney World. He was in the original cast of High School Musical Pep Rally at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, and could be seen almost daily in The Festival of the Lion King and Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. In 2006, Kyle joined Universal Orlando Resort’s longest running show (Beetlejuice’s Graveyard Revue) where he sang covered from head toe in green as one of Universal’s Classic Monsters. Kyle moved out to sea in 2015 as he continued his performance career as Cruise Director with Carnival Cruise Line. He was fortunate to not only work with theatrical professionals from all over the world, but he got to travel throughout Europe, the Caribbean, and the Mexican Riviera. Kyle has enthusiastically returned to his roots here in the Monterey Bay and is excited to share his wealth of experience and knowledge in a classroom setting where the passion began for him a mere 28 years ago.
