Isaiah was born and raised on the coast of California and began dancing at the age of four. He is a former student of The Dance Center’s co-owner Tia and obtained his formal training at the University North Carolina School of the Arts, in addition to the San Francisco Ballet School. Soon after, he began his professional career with
Isaiah is an Isadora Duncan Award Winner, 2018. After 4 years with Dawson, he has continued his work with California Ballet Company for two seasons performing roles such as Cavalier/Russian/Snow King/Arabian in The Nutcracker, choreography by Maxine Mahon, George Wilson in The Great Gatsby, choreography by Septime Webre. He has also performed Juanita y Alicia, by Septime Webre, as well as The Matador in Bizet’s Carmen. Continuing his performing career with various companies, Isaiah is looking towards Choreography, Artistic Direction, and Ballet Instruction as a path for the future.
