Eddie has been tumbling for 8 years and has danced for over 10 years, studying each element of hip-hop dance. He has traveled across the US competing, performing, and showcasing his remarkable talents. Eddie has been formally trained in the fundamentals for each hip-hop dance style including Breakdancing, Popping, Housing, and Locking. After training in dance, he began competitive All-Star cheerleading and won multiple competitions across the US as well. He has extensively coached cheerleading and gymnastics. At The Dance Center, Eddie instructs Hip-hop and Acrobatics classes for all levels. Eddie’s teaching philosophy is to have fun, keep a positive mindset, and work through challenges. His goal is to keep dancing/acro exciting to develop eager and inquisitive students. Eddie is a dance major at San Jose State University and trains in ballet, jazz, modern, but he really enjoys blending genres and styles together. His dance goal is to make Hip-Hop a technical class for universities everywhere. Eddie likes to describe himself as a ball of positive energy that bounces off the wall!
