Strength and Stretch for Mature Dancers
Body Power: Intermediate/Advanced Dance Conditioning and Flexibility (1 hr.)
Yoga for Dancers: Tween/Teen Yoga (1 hr.)
Emphasis on core strength helps keep dancer’s bodies safe, while challenging the body to stay strong and flexible. This energetic class is suitable for Intermediate and Advanced dancers. Our workout consists of training for every major muscle group. Posture, correct use of body technique, and core muscle engagement are the major focus of the class. The choreographed stretches and strengthening exercises are simple, allowing the reinforcement of the workout and fluid movement of the exercise. Floor work and complete body stretching will allow the body to elongate and release the muscles after strengthening exercises.
