Elise has extensively trained under the tutelage of Tia Brown, specifically specializing in advanced ballet and pointe while concurrently studying jazz and contemporary. Her additional professional training includes dance world icons such as the San Francisco Ballet, Gelsey Kirkland Academy, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Ellison Ballet Academy, Alvin Ailey (NYC), and Steps on Broadway. During her elite nationwide training, she has been featured in summer intensive performances and competed extensively in group and solo pieces. Elise has also danced with San Francisco’s ODC and Smuin Ballet Company Principals. Locally, she has danced with the Carmel High Dance Team, the Monterey Symphony, and as The Nutcracker’s Sugar Plumb Fairy and Clara. Elise is already an accomplished choreographer with her groundbreaking pieces making powerful artistic statements.
Currently, Elise is completing a comprehensive teaching internship, focused on ballet and pointe, under the close mentorship of TDC owners Tia Brown and Laura Jeselnick. Elise has a love and passion for dance but enjoys running and competitively diving. As a proud auntie of 3 nephews, Elise is close with her family and cherishes the time she spends with them.
